If Gufo and The Woolmark Company hold a press event in Berlin at the Design mall BIKINI to launch the new IL GUFO capsule collection FW14/15. Besides the beautiful collection, a delicious brunch buffet and a fun craft workshop was waiting for us.

The collaboration between IL GUFO, brand of excellence in kidswear, and THE WOOLMARK COMPANY, the world leader in the wool industry, continues for the second season, with the launch of the new capsule collection FW1415 composed of products made from 100% Merino wool. IL GUFO is one of the most important Italian luxury clothing brands for children, specialising in the production and distribution of high quality collections for children from 0 to 14 years of age. Quality materials, constant textile research and attention to details are the core values of the brand philosophy.
The novelty of the season is the use of a particular Merino wool yarn that, while maintaining the softness of the fibre, makes it even more resistant to machine washing. For 50 years the WOOLMARK logo has striven to demonstrate the extraordinary versatility and innate luxury of Merino wool, creating a product appreciated all over the world.

Pitti Bimbo N°76 - The world of childrenswear meets in Florence - die ersten Eindrücke!

Es sind die Top nationalen und internationalen Einkäufern, die Pitti Bimbo jede Saison zu einem kommerzieller Erfolg machen. Das bestätigt dann auch das  hohe Qualität der ausstellenden Label. Die Show geht weiter: Pitti Bimbo in Florenz - 17.1-19.1.2013

Die Pitti Immagine Bimbo ist die größte europäische Kindermodemessse und findet am kommenden Wochenende zum 76. Mal in Florenz statt. Vom 17. bis 19. Januar 2012 widmet sich die Pitti Bimbo wieder ganz der Welt des Kinder. 470 Labels darunter 177 internationale Marken präsentieren ihre Kollektionen für Herbst/Winter 2013/2014. Neuzugänge sind u.a. Bonpoint, Cacharel, Liberty London, Marc O'Polo und New Balance. Erwartet werden über 10.000 Besucher an diesem Wochenende.

Neun Trend-Universen verteilen sind auf der Pitti Bimbo, Fashion at Work, Sport Generation, Pop New View, Kids 'Design, SuperStreet, EcoEthic, Apartment, Up Stores.
Das Motto der Messe ist "Pitti Bookswear Mania" und gezeigt werden jede Menge Bücher über Mode, Kunst und Design. Begleitet wird die Messe wie jede Saison mit vielen wunderbaren Modeschauen.

Bei SILVIAN HEACH KIDS präsentiert Mena Marano am 17.1. das Project ONE WORLD ZERO DIFFERENCES 100% LOVE. Special Guests sind Kevin Prince Boateng und Melissa Satta.

The Pitti Immagine Bimbo is the largest European kids' fair and taking place in Florence this coming weekend for the 76th time. From January 17th -19th the Pitti Bimbo is devoted entirely to the world of children. 470 labels including 177 international brands present their collections for autumn / winter 2013/2014. Newbies are Bonpoint, Cacharel, Liberty London, Marc O'Polo and New Balance. More than 10.000 visitors are expected.

Nine trend universes are presented at Pitti Bimbo, Fashion at Work, Sport Generation, New View Pop, Kids' Design, Super Street, EcoEthic, apartment, up stores.
The theme of the exhibition is "Pitti Book Wear Mania" and showing many books of fashion, art and design. The trade fair  includes like every season many fabulous fashion shows.

On January 17th, Mena Marano presents for SILVIAN HEACH KIDS  the Project ONE WORLD ZERO Differences 100% LOVE. Special Guests are Kevin Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta.

Am 17.1. findet die erste Modenschau mit MISS BLUMARINE im Sala della Ronda statt. Anschließend die Modenschau von TWIN SET im Sala del Rondino und später wieder im Sala della Ronda die Modenschau von MISS GRANT, GRANT GARÇON E L:U' L:U'. Ein weiterer Highlight bei den Modenschauen ist um 19.00 Uhr im Teatro Goldoni in Florenz die Modenschau von MONNALISA. Wer dann noch Stehvermögen hat beeilt sich zum Palazzo Corsini zum Cocktail von YOUNG VERSACE.

Also on January 17th the first fashion show with MISS BLUMARINE will be held in the "Sala della Ronda". Next show that day is by TWIN SET in the "Sala del Rondino". The fashion show of MISS GRANT, GRANT GARÇON EL: U 'L: U' starts later again in the Sala della Ronda. Another highlight of the fashion show is at 7 pm at the Teatro Goldoni in Florence, the fashion show of MONNALISA. And if you have still stamina YOUNG VERSACE is having a cocktail at the Palazzo Corsini.

Am 18.1. geht's weiter im Sala della Ronda mit IL GUFO. Im Stazione Leopolda wird um 13.30 die Kollektion von DIESEL KID & JOHN GALLIANO KIDS auf der Bühne von Brave Kid präsentiert.

On January 18th, the shows continue with IL GUFO  in the Sala della Ronda. Next at 1.30 pm at the Stazione Leopolda the collection of DIESEL KIDS KID & JOHN GALLIANO will be presented on stage by Brave Kid.

WonderFood Pitti was the key theme for the summer edition of Pitti Immagine’s shows…simply because, now more than ever, we are all talking about food.

6.200 Einkäufer besuchten die 75. Pitti Immagine Bimbo in Florenz, die größte Messe für Kindermode weltweit. Der Zuwachs aus dem Ausland war auch diese Saison laut Messeleitung bemerkenswert : Russische Einkäufer waren schon letzte Saison stark vertreten und konnten erneut einen Zuwachs von +25% verbuchen, China (+48%), Türkei (+43%), Japan (+18%), USA (+10%) und Frankreich (+5%). Il Gufo catwalk on Pitti Bimbo

Am Freitag, den 29. Juni 2012 präsentiert das italienische Kinderlabel Il Gufo die neue Frühjahr/Sommer Kollektion 2013 auf der Modenschau der Pitti Immagine Bimbo, zum ersten Mal auf den Messegelände selbst. In Stile des Süden Frankreichs war der Laufsteg mit viel Holz und französischen Kräutern dekoriert. Inspiration für Kollektion wie für den Laufsteg war die spielerische und entspannte Atmosphäre eines provenzalischen, französischen Marktes. Il Gufo – italienisch: die Eule – wurde 1980 als Familienunternehmen in Asolo - Venetien gegründet. Die Firmengründerin selbst entwarf und nähte die Kleidung für Ihre Kinder selbst und der Beginn des fulminanten Erfolges des italienischen Kindermode-Labels. Il Gufo fertigt luxuriöse Bekleidung, Schuhe und Accessoires für Kinder im Alter von 0-14 Jahren. Dabei steht ein klassisch sportlicher Stil im Vordergrund.
Für Sommers 2013 bestimmen bei den Mädchen wie gewohnt Kleider die Keylooks, bunt und bequem für den Alltag und elegant für den besonderen Anlass.
Für die Jungen sind die vorherrschenden Farben der Kollektion: Dunkelblau, Türkis, Rubin, Orange und Safran für Oberteile wie gefärbt Chinos und Five-Pocket-Hose gerne auch mit Vintage-Effekt. Gegensätzliche Muster und unterschiedliche Farben definieren den Spaß am Mixen z.B. bei Polohemden, T-Shirts und Strickjacken mit kontrastreichen Details.

Romantisch verspielt mit Lochstickerei und Rüschen

On Friday 29 June, Il Gufo presented their Spring Summer 2013 collection in a fashion show taking place for the first time inside the fair venue of Pitti Immagine Bimbo. The South of France themed catwalk was decorated with wood and French herbs. Il Gufo found their inspiration not only for the catwalk also for their summer collection in the playful and relaxed atmosphere of a French Provencal market.
For girls, dresses are once again the protagonists of the summer, colourful and relaxed for everyday wear or elegant for more formal occasions.
For the boys, colour is the protagonist: dark blue, turquoise, ruby, orange and saffron for sweaters and garment-dyed chinos and five-pocket trousers or also with vintage effect. Clashing patterns and differing colours define a fun mix & match on polo shirts, T-shirts and cardigans with contrasting details.

Pitti Bimbo 75 - Elsy Girl catwalk show

Auftakt und Blickfang der Show: die beleuchteten Kleider im Hintergrund.

Die größte Kindermodemesse Pitti Bimbo fand diesen Sommer zum 75. Mal statt. Wie bei denGroßen konnte man auch bei der Pitti Bimbo Kindermodenmesse den Glamour der großen Designer bei vielen speziellen Events und Schauen sehen und spüren. Auf den Catwalk präsentierte neben Miss Blumarine; Il Gufo; Twin Set Girl und Miss Grant/ Grant Garçon auch das italienische Kinderlabel Elsy Girl seine neuste Kollektion für Sommer 2012. Inspiriert durch den Flair eines Sommerurlaubes an der Riviera mit Retrò Touch zeigte die Kollektion viel Gepunktes und florale Prints. Keylook waren glamouröse Kleider der 50ziger und Hängerchen im Stile der 60ziger und lange T-Shirts, die mit Leggings oder "skinny" Jeans kombiniert werden.

The second show on Pitti's busy catwalk schedule was the Italian girlswear label Elsy.

Elsy Girl introduced their SS13 collection, inspired by a summer vacation in the Riviera with a retrò touch. It showed a lot of polka dots and floral designs, starring dresses, which echoed the glamour of the fifties and sixties and long t-shirts paired with jeggings and skinny jeans instead of the traditional trousers.
