Der Do-It-Yourself-Trend wird auch 2013 nicht abebben. Für viele ist Selbermachen ein Bekenntnis zur Individualität. Es geht um kritische Konsumhaltung und Anti-Establishment. Und auch um Nachhaltigkeit. Noch vor einiger Zeit verband man mit Handarbeit das Image von Großmüttern oder ungeschminkten Öko-Tanten. Doch das hat sich geändert. D.I.Y. ist in! Das drückt sich auch in der Wahl der Kleidung und den Accessoires aus. Wenn es schon nicht selbstgemacht ist, dann darf es wenigstens so aussehen.

The Do It Yourself (D.I.Y.) trend is not going to slow down in 2013. For many, DIY is a commitment to individuality. It focuses on critical consumerism and anti-establishment. And It‘s also about sustainability. Handmade used to have an image of old fashioned of our granny and odd aunties. But that has changed. D.I.Y. is in! This also reflects the choice of clothes and accessories. If you cannot make it yourself, then it should at least look like you did.
