Women Fashion Power showing off in London!

The ‘Women Fashion Power’ Exhibition at the Design Museum in London offers an unprecedented look at how princesses, models, CEOs, Dames and designers have used fashion to define and enhance their position in the world. 26 Women of Power are featured and cover 150 years of women’s fashion.
Designed by the world-renowned architect, Zaha Hadid (the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize), this exhibition brings together exclusive interviews, an immersive multimedia journey and unique historic pieces of clothing to form the most wide-ranging presentation of modern fashion ever to be shown in the UK. It has little to do with fashion as trend-driven designer vision. It focuses on image and authority in the public eye. How did women like Dame Vivienne Westwood or Natalie Massenet, Princess Diana and Anne Hidalgo have used fashion as an important tool of self-expression and empowerment to build reputation, attract attention and assert authority.

If Gufo and The Woolmark Company hold a press event in Berlin at the Design mall BIKINI to launch the new IL GUFO capsule collection FW14/15. Besides the beautiful collection, a delicious brunch buffet and a fun craft workshop was waiting for us.

The collaboration between IL GUFO, brand of excellence in kidswear, and THE WOOLMARK COMPANY, the world leader in the wool industry, continues for the second season, with the launch of the new capsule collection FW1415 composed of products made from 100% Merino wool. IL GUFO is one of the most important Italian luxury clothing brands for children, specialising in the production and distribution of high quality collections for children from 0 to 14 years of age. German Press Days 2014 in Berlin

Last week, during the German Press Days Berlin serveral PR agencies presented collections and new products to a group of national and international media. In a relaxed atmosphere new contacts were made and existing ones strengthened. It still feels very different in a classical face-to-face communication. The Fableists - The Epic Thread

Like the protagonist in their film, The Fableists were curious about the provenance of the clothes that we all are buying for our children and so they decided to launch their own range of sustainably made children’s clothes – The Fableists. Their collection is made entirely of organic cotton, using natural dyes so that the clothes do not contain harmful chemicals. They do not use sweatshops or child labour. Their collection is mostly unisex so that, with proper care, the clothes can be passed on, and on. "Let’s break the cycle of kids making clothes for other kids and also buy less, buy well and wear more." Take a look at their nicely done cartoon video and join the Fableists!
