Located at the Markthalle Neun (Eisenbahnstr. 42/43) in Kreuzberg, the Naschmarkt takes its name from the German verb "naschen" (“to nibble”). Markthalle Neun offers a wonderful atmosphere to present all kinds of sweets and ice cream from vendors who follow the Slow Food philosophies.

Next date: 7, December 2014.
Markthalle Neun's objective is to demonstrate that alternative eating and shopping is possible in an urban space. With an emphasis on regional and seasonal products, paired with the added value of buying locally, conveniently and responsibly, our marketeers offer everything from fair and eco-friendly produce to meat from farms that practice ethical husbandry to seafood from sustainable fisheries. The weekly market on Fridays and Saturdays, featuring predominantly local produce, is the foundation of Markthalle Neun.
