Was ist ein Trend? "Ein Trend ist etwas, das kommt. Vielleicht. Vielleicht auch nicht. Jedenfalls ist es noch nicht ganz da, ja die wenigsten wissen, dass da überhaupt etwas kommen wird", so beschreibt es Anders Björk, Ideenjäger.
Trends - vor allem in der Mode - werden oft von Meinungsforschern erfasst und tauchen dann in allen möglichen Medien auf. Heutzutage finden wir am schnellsten die Trends im Internet, vor allem in blogs: Modeblogs, D.I.Y. blogs, Kochblogs oder Einrichtungsblogs ... Die Aufzählung lässt sich beliebig erweitern. Trends, die nicht kommuniziert werden, existieren nicht! Viele kleine Labels widerspiegeln die Entwicklungen in unserer Gesellschaft. Sie machen die Trends mit. Marken sind mittendrin und nicht nur daneben. Ihnen kommt dabei durchaus die Rolle von Orientierungshilfen zu.

Trends - especially in fashion - are transported by trendsetters to all kind of medias. The fastest way to transport trends is by the internet, especially through blogs: fashion blogs, D.I.Y. blogs, cooking blogs or interior blogs ... The list goes on and on.Trends that have not been communicated do not exist! Many small labels reflect trends in our society. They also create trends. Brands are in the middle of trendsetting, not just next to it. They provide thoroughly a role of guidance.
