What’s petitePARADE?

Seit September 2010 findet jeweils zur New York Fashion Week die petit PARADE statt. Ein e eigene kleine Fashion Week für die Kindermode mit Modenschauen und Events rund um's Kind. Die Schauen sind nur mit Einladung zugänglich. Neben den Laufsteg-Aktivitäten gibt es auch kreative Workshops für Kinder, die von lokalen Organisationen unterstützt werden. Im März fand die KIDS FASHION WEEK erneut statt, wie immer unter der Schirmherrschaft der italienischen VOGUE bambini. Mehr Info gibt es unter www.petiteparade.com

September 2010, during NY Fashion Week—the first petitePARADE took place! Petit PARADE is a runway showcase created exclusively for the children’s market! Sponsored by the Italian VOGUE bambini.

On March 10th and 11th, 2013 the exciting event for an invitation-only audience of media, buyers, mini-fashion mavens and celeb-u-tots took place again. The mission is to legitimize children’s fashion as well as offer an alternative source of visibility for kid related brands, petitePARADE generates industry excitement and introduces a new branded platform for toddler and tween products. They also have on-site activities for children like a T-shirt workshop and Museum craft-activities with local organizations.

The fall / winter 2013 collectionis produced by Diesel. The label shared a catwalk at the last Pitti Bimbo with the Diesel collection itself and is sold in stores worldwide.

With its 1.662 visiteurs, or 12% more than the last edition, Playtime New York marked its highest increase ever! This edition of the fair was a positive one indeed, and with it, Playtime New York joined the group of major international trade shows.
