Chloé Enfant - the children collection Winter 2011/2012

Die Marke Chloé wurde 1952 von Gaby Aghion gegründet. einer in Alexandria, in Agypten geborene Pariserin, die 1945 nach Paris zog. Mit der Ablehnung der steife Förmlichkeit der Mode der 50er Jahre, entwarf  Aghion eine weiche, körperbetonte Kleidung aus edlen Materialien und nannte sie "Luxus Prêt-à-porter". Einzigartig für ihre Zeit, waren die Kleidungsstücke wunderschön verarbeitet und "von der Stange" zu kaufen. Bis 1985 war das Haus Chloé unter der Führung von Gaby Aghion, danach wurde es von der Gruppe Dunhill Holdings übernommen (heute Richemont Group).

Chloé is founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne with a dark beauty and a bohemian spirit. Rejecting the stiff formality of the 50’s fashion, she creates soft, body conscious clothes from fine fabrics and called them “luxury prêt-à-porter”. Unique for their time, they are beautifully made clothes available off the rack.

Delphine Chanet photographs fashionable kids for Chloé Enfants and Elle France. Chanet photographed the Fall/Winter 2011 campaign for the children’s line of the storied French fashion house. In addition she captured several children for a fashion spread in the October issue of Elle France. Both shoots took place on locations in Paris, France.

The Chloé Enfants shoot took place in a big empty flat in Paris. The setting had a natural and soft ambiance that was perfect for the look of the campaign. Chanet captured the children playing with large 3D CHLOE letters that are used in the woman’s collections campaigns. The result is a mixture of absurdity, spontaneity, and energy. The children enjoyed playing with the letters giving the images a more natural feel as well.
