From 15th-18th September, it's that time again - 935 companies from 43 countries will present their products at the Kind + Jugend. That means a record number of exhibitors and fully booked exhibition halls
for the Koelnmesse - and an increase of around 15 percent compared to last year (2010: 819). The product range at Kind + Jugend 2011 is large as always. For four days, trends, innovations and established products for the small and tiny consumers are presented. In addition to clothing and toys, strollers, car seats, hygiene items, children's furniture, maternity wear and accessories are presented. After a successful anniversary event last year, there will also be a new edition of the fashion show at the Kind + Jugend. For the Kids Fashion Show the Koelnmesse was able to obtain again the fashion and lifestyle magazine Luna with the same number of top international fashion labels. Shown will be the collections Spring / Summer 2012 Armani Junior, Hugo Boss, Gaultier Junior, Simonetta, Paul Smith Junior and Lacoste.

Jürgen Horst Dörfler, chairman of the advisory board of Kind + Jugend underlined the importance of trade fairs as a transparent marketplace where innovations and trends can be seen and compared directly. Furthermore, smaller, personalized retailers qualify "perspective through intensive fair trade work and visit“ according to Dörfler, the advantages of large retail groups and their order department. In terms of visitors, the structure of Kind + Jugend retains its unique position. They are still the only trade show of this kind in the world, all relevant visitor target groups from the international wholesale of its top buyers to representatives of the buying groups and trade visitors from micro-enterprises. Thus new registered trade missions come to Kind + Jugend from Eastern Europe, for example to establish new business contacts.
